Then im confused, what are you arguing saying its way overpriced for?

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - .RJ - 10-04-2011

One of those things is not like the other.

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - .RJ - 10-04-2011

I went and looked at the results for this guy, and in the region the spread of fastest race lap over the top 5 drivers is over 4.5 seconds for the few events I looked at. I'm sure its a great car, but its still a 20 year old 944 and the competition isnt that stuff (compared to Spec Miata at the runoffs).

The car has a pretty limited target market too - if you dont want to race NASA, your options are pretty limited to regional unlimited/catch all classes with SCCA, PCA, etc. Honda Challenge was the same way, been there/done that.

This is why racecars are expensive to build and cheap to buy, DJ....

wow, no comment.

Hey, true story.

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - Apoc - 10-04-2011

That car is definitely overpriced. There's a reason why the price has been dropped 30-40% and STILL hasn't sold in 9 months... and it ain't the economy. Classic case of someone trying to recoup what they dumped in to it.

Sincerely,
Someone who has seen a fair share of 944-bodied high HP race cars sold.

Throwing in a parts car as well!

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - Kaan - 10-06-2011

is it a white parts car? Wink

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - Ole - 10-07-2011

Red parts car..... also have Hard top. Will not sell hard top seperately (well, maybe for $700).

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - Sully - 10-07-2011

What makes it a parts car? Can it be a normal car again?

Could be but it will need fenders and a driver door....and some intake pieces parts....not sure if I took anything else off of it... Still has the valuable rear finish panel....

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - Sully - 10-07-2011

I might be in the market for a miata to build into a spec car in the future...would love to get yours but way out of my price range plus I really want to learn as I build it.

An LS engine with a turbo kit and it doesn't even crack 450 rwhp?

Bench racers gonna bench race.

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - WRXtranceformed - 10-10-2011

Definitely weak considering my old 2.8L boosted 4 banger put down more than that on pump gas.... with 1 less turbo and 4 less cylinders Tongue

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - xvxax - 10-10-2011

Maybe the restriction is in those 1.5" intakes the owner insisted on snaking all the way through the engine bay.

Re: Cool cars for sale that ain't yours! - Goodspeed - 10-10-2011

For the record, I think its like...a 4 psi tune on bone-stock fuel system. That's on a 345 (crank) hp base LS1.

Ive always loved 300ZXs, but hated working on them. Ive only worked on em twice but I hated every single minute of it. Problem solved:

That car is pretty sick. It was the demo car for the company Dress Up Bolts. Also featured in Modified Magazine.
