I think Kaan is onto something with Rudy being the fall guy. He clearly is working on Trump's pet projects under the guise of the US government. I don't think there is any other way to describe it. Remember when Rudy was America's Mayor after 9/11? What a fall from grace.

He is definitely the fall guy for and the Ukrane, such as, connection - but the funny business on hiding/supressing documents is 100% on the WH and Barr.

I'm sure Rudy will be thrown under the bus, but I think Trump was using Rudy for his shenanigans because Rudy was willing to do dirty work for him, and because Rudy wouldn't be as constrained by pesky full-time employees of the USG who would tell him the things he's doing are illegal or report his deeds to their IG.
Same reason Trump has his kids involved in a bunch of official stuff they have no business doing. Loyalty, and lack of oversight.

So far it looks like Agent Orange stepped in it. Though reading the whistle blowers attachment, I'm not sure why it was classified or redacted. From my last class, I'm also not sure they marked it correctly.... but ehhh
Also, Agent Oranges actions are going to (and probably should for now) overshadow the information in the same document... Ukraine + election meddling; Ukraine + Bidens son; Ukraine + Clinton server (or backup or the stolen information was backed up)… and something about the DNC knowing about it.
I hope they go down all the rabbit holes while we are here digging on the President. My overall political distrust has climbed to an all time highs.
My next conspiracy theory is (i promise i made this up while reading and eating lunch)... Since the DNC knew the Ukraine involvement in "stuff", did they long game Trump with whistleblower plants? Sure there are more defined whistle blower laws and protections... but lord have mercy it sounds like a NFL football game broke out in DC (not in landover)

Last night a few different House committees released text messages been members of the state department and the special envoy to Ukraine. These look bad. They are discussing withholding aid until Ukraine agrees to investigate Biden as well as not giving the Ukrainian President a meeting with Trump until the investigation is started.
The messages were provided to the committees yesterday by the recently resigned special envoy to Ukraine, Kurt Volker.

It's amazing how quickly either Trump, Giuliani, or someone in the administration is totally blowing up whatever was that last flimsy defense they came up with. 'No quid pro quo!' Actually, the people involved were talking about, and attempting to hide exactly that. 'Trump wasn't trying to solicit illegal election help!' Oh, he did so on national tv on the White House lawn.
I just wonder if the GOP will finally tire of tying themselves into pretzels trying to defend someone that destroys his own defenses. A bunch of people are resigning, a few people have furrowed eyebrows, many are claiming 'I didn't read the memo. Or the texts. Or the report. Or the complaint.' Is this the most indestructible dam in the history of dams, or is the Republican dam going to break on Trump any day now?

I at least think there's a possibility that dialog can prevent VA from becoming swamp-ass CA in other ways. But arguing gun control isn't fruitful. If the DNC wants to blow the lid off the igloo, that's on them. I'll have no part in it either way.
