haha, i'll have to ask sometime.

they are so gorgeous though, i used to pine over the IMSA car Steve Millen drove and even had a slot car version of it. i had a chance to see it again at The Mitty historics 2 years ago at RA and the whole car is a beautiful rats nest.

ever looked in one of the engine bays? They're pretty cars, but thats about where it ends :?

I almost bought one, engine bay and all. Those things are sweeet except when they stop working. Chapin tried to track his 300ZX so it's on the extreme end of the spectrum.

Chapins car was in fine shape until he started working on it

I never understood the infatuation with those cars. I think they look like turds.

I'm with Evan and I haven't owned any hairdresser cars.

Fuck. I want another '99 Miata.

And an FD, in white please, with an LS7 on a crate for when the rotary lets go.

Nothing about that car was easy, and parts were expensive. My biggest mistake was tracking it - which multiplied the work and budget to the point where I was so angry, bloodied, and broke that I got sick of it.

If I'm ever independently wealthy, I'd love to have another one. And someone else will be wrenching on it...
