Re: Project: 1976 911S - Apoc - 06-28-2013 I was concerned the wheel was going to be too close with the QR, but the stock wheel was so close to the dash it turned out not to be a problem. I missed the turn signal the first couple times, but other than that, no real problems with placement. The weight difference between the two wheels is pretty astonishing. I didn't think the horn button through, because it can't be installed as-is with the QR. I could glue the button on the center of the wheel, but I kinda like the mechanical look of no button at all. I wish I'd waited to install the wheel before buying the horn button.
Re: Project: 1976 911S - Apoc - 08-10-2013 I'm still not convinced I don't want the lettering. Re: Project: 1976 911S - ispoonwithmugen - 08-10-2013 Keep the lettering! Re: Project: 1976 911S - premiershine9 - 08-11-2013 X2 keep the lettering Re: Project: 1976 911S - Apoc - 08-11-2013 That's actually a different car, but the color's obviously very close. Re: Project: 1976 911S - ViPER1313 - 08-11-2013 No lettering - looks way cleaner without it. Re: Project: 1976 911S - davej - 08-12-2013 Letters! And after a quick read, holy cow I didn't know there were so many rules on how to properly letter your car. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche- ... 11t-2.html
