If that's a disc model, or an FS model, it's probaly a pretty decent deal. 19 may be a teeny bit small, though.

- Evan - 07-22-2008

i would only consider buying a used bike if its a high-midrange to higher end ($1500+ originally) bike, and even then you have to know what you're looking at to see if the guy beat the shit out of the bike.

lower end/ midrange bikes, no way, they cant take much abuse and are probably all used up unless they were barely ridden at all. (ask RJ about his specialized....)

those are the kinds of jacknobs that give mt. bikers a bad name. tearing up the trail, dragging the rear tire around and riding like its a motocross bike. they arent even fast

- .RJ - 07-22-2008

jackassery aside, it looks like fun.

I would probably crash and tumble down a very long hill Sad

- Ole - 07-22-2008

Is that how you guys ride?

- .RJ - 07-22-2008

Ole Wrote:Is that how you guys ride?

You're a couple inches taller than me, but you're more than welcome to test ride the crappy Rincon if you want! I may be working out at Summit Point here in the near future anyway.

- Ginger - 08-01-2008

Critical Massers have always been douchebags... don't make the mistake of associating a general cyclist with the holier-than-thou city punters that run this crap. People love to make fun of spandex roadies, but, because of sponsor name displays, prominently displayed team names and logos, we're generally far better behaved than those tools.

Also, if we're talking about mountian bikes, it's important to note that the general public doesn't usually haven opinion on them, because mountain biking doesn't take place on car roads.

- Mike - 08-01-2008

oh... I know who the douches are and aren't. the general public does not.
