Yes Peaky Blinders is awesome. Can't wait for season 3. Bloodline is also starting again tomorrow. I enjoyed that a lot. Great story really kept me involved.

If you all didn't watch Westworld, you should. Season 1 just finished up last night and it's easily already one of the best shows on TV. It's right up there with Game of Thrones for me. HBO has been killing it lately.

Not fully caught up. I think I watched 6 or 7 last night. I agree though - HBO is on a tear between this, The Night Of, GOT, Silicon Valley.
I enjoy West World, but I don't think it even cracks my top ten of shows at this point.

Just started watching Westworld. How do guests know who is a guest? I understand the robots or hosts somehow know from I guess the programming.

Edit: also how do guests know who are robots?

I take it you're asking if, say, a guest mistakenly shoots another guest. The T&C docs on visitwestworld.com go over this a bit, but the bullet technology in the park accounts for this I believe. Get stabbed or pushed off a cliff? You signed the waiver....

Well I just saw that part and was like welp fuck me, they don't. So a guest could just walk around shooting and kill other people or push them off the cliff per say and no repercussions. Weird to think about. But, it's a show after all.

I am about 4 episodes in - but according to the plot in the original movie - the guns had heat sensors and wouldn't fire at a warm body. Update as needed for future technology?

Re: The TV Show Thread *Possible Spoilers* - rherold9 - 12-06-2016

So I finished episode 5. Overall definitely not my favorite show but it for sure keeps you interested/wanting to know what happened or is going to happened. It has that there is a secret hidden and some shit is about to go down so you want to keep watching it to find out.

I'll probably finish the season tonight and report back with my meaningless opinions.

I loved Westworld basically from the beginning.

Especially my Dopplehemsworth:

The wife and I were bed-ridden the past 3 days so we ended up watching a boat load of TV.

Maybe we were sick and hallucinating (oh wait we were); but we stumbled upon the "The Man in the High Castle". Starts off a little cheesy but I think gets really good after the first episode. We watched all 10 episodes of the first season. I liked that a lot of what happened were genuine surprises and the twists and turns of a first season TV show is always great. Season 2 comes out December 16th.

Also watched a lot of Top gear Reruns = win. And the latest Gran Touring episode 3 which was actually decent. Not Top Gear all time faves great, but it saved it from me never watching another episode again after the first 2.

Great show, and agreed, the surprises from me were genuine which is tough to do these days. Looking forward to the 16th, jealous that you got to watch it now and don't have to wait that long haha.

Yeah, I'd recommend West World to people. It starts picking up episode 6 and on. It's still interesting the first 5 just not too much happens story wise but that is the point to build the story.

Why have I never watched this? I'm on like the 6th episode of season one and this shit is gold especially as a software engineer.

Spoiler warning, don't click if you haven't finished season 1 of Westworld.

Wife and I finished WestWorld A+

I started into Game of Thrones, It is entertaining, but I don't see what the huge obsession is about. The show is more frustrating than anything, how many opportunities have their been to just slice the lil fucktards throat. I would have taken one for the team, been well worth the beheading and or torture after it.

Just started Season 4, fucktards wedding was one of the most satisfying moments in TV show history.

Caught the first two episodes of The Young Pope the other day. I'll be watching more - pretty excellent beginnings thus far.

I binged all of Atlanta. 25 minute episodes so it's a quick one. Extremely well done - writing, music, acting. Would recommend.
