If you can believe this my brother, 4 years my junior got his phone in April/May 2003 and was 17 at the time. I didn't get my first phone till October 2004 and was 22...lol. I held off as long as I could.

I use cingular and havnt had many problems with them. I think I'm on some kind of family roll over plan so minutes are not an issue. Same goes with txt msg'ing. I get bars almost everywhere, it was worse last year, this year every point on campus has at least three bars. Never drop any calls.

Customer service is kinda sucky, but my RAZR's screen exploded a few weeks back and I just called them up and they sent me a new phone (new version) for free...
