I planned for 4 just because in past years I've been left out to dry when it came to cleaning up so it took me 2 hours. It shouldn't be a big issue this year so we can move it up.

Holy butts. Wow. Great job every one. I'm still in shock that I was part of such an awesome weekend. Thanks to the sponsors, thanks to the alums, thanks to the students (You guys kicked butt on your working assignments and helping setup/clean), and thanks to everyone else who came.

It is such a blast to see all of you guys I never get to see, even if it's only for about 45 seconds at a time before I run off to put out another fire.

Thanks to my officers James, Chip an Matt. I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you Jake and Goodspeed for listening to me ramble on about ideas about the show. Thank you Matthew and Zach for helping out so much even though you're not students anymore.

I really appreciate everything all of you did to help. This was a team effort and while more work may have been done by some people, everyone deserves praise for their hard work.

We are still completely scrambled (My house still has no furniture in it and I can't walk through the kitchen without my feet getting stuck), but we will have some official numbers and photos soon for everyone.

We had over 200 cars at the show (I believe around 189 registered and paid) and we had a pile of prizes to hand out. The Forza booth was amazing and I hope we have a chance to do it again in the future, or should I say the future officers? The speakers, handheld radios, bullhorn, EZ up, tables and everything we used are all owned by MM now so future officers don't have to find them or borrow them. James and I still have a few things to buy for the guys next year before we hand it over. I can't wait to see the photos and videos, because I certainly never got a chance to look at any of the cars there.

The cruise was nothing short of bananas. I never did count, but I'd guess we had 30+ cars.

We had SO MANY PEOPLE for dinner. I love seeing so many people want to hang out. The party at my place was a blast and to see such friendship and fun between everyone made my heart swell. The autocross today was so cool and we had a ton of current students out there tearing it up. I'll post stuff from that as it comes out, but in the mean time, please enjoy this video of our hired driver, Tom Corona whipping El Encierro around the autocross course.

It belongs to Paul Elliott's dad. He's the original owner, 45k garage kept miles. The thing is so fucking beautiful.

Finally catching my breath at work. This was definitely one of the best MM shows I've been to - it seems like they ebb and flow for quality and this one was a nice high point and a great way for the current officers to end their year. I took about seven photos all weekend so that's what I'm posting.

Had a nice drive down to the 'Burg with Tom, Joey, Paul, Anna, David, David, and Peter on Saturday morning. Spent a few minutes at Miracle Wash, including a brief moment where I thought Joey was going to beat up the driver of a navy blue Blazer for trying to cut in line after we'd been waiting forever. Thankfully, nobody was murdered with a foaming brush and we made it to the show shiny and unscathed.

Show itself was awesome, 200 cars is a huge turnout. I really appreciated the "flow" that was established - using the Volvo and Scotty's MM pong table to split entry/exit of the lot was smart, as was the loooong one-way path of registration/payment/etc. Kept the cars flowing and orderly. Sponsors pulled their weight and I'm glad there was money left over to buy some goodies that will help future generations with events like this.

I spent the down-time between the show and cruise dicking around in a few cars in the C4 lot with Brandon, Matt, Tom and Alex (and a few others). Got to drive the famed MM E30 and thoroughly enjoyed winding the tach out to 10 mpg and the massive suspension squat when I gingerly selected 2nd gear with no sense of gusto at all Wink

. Brandon got some three-pedal practice in the E46, and a few people got to hoon it around town. Alex let me hoon his C6 Corvette, too. Targa tops are kickass.

The cruise was great, everyone was well-behaved and there were no incidents - impressive given the gigantic turnout of cars.

Sorry I couldn't get us the back room at O'Neills for dinner, I really tried and the owner or whoever I spoke to on the phone wouldn't do it for us. I felt bad that we had ~40 people show up and everyone couldn't be easily accommodated. Hopefully everyone got fed and was happy.

Taylor's party was a good time, kudos to Paul and Megan for showing up and basking in a college party with me. Seemed like a lot of other alumni had to get home the same evening or didn't want to come out and play after dinner, but the three of us had fun.

Autocross was autocross - the highlight for me was riding in the MM Taurus with Tom at the helm. Such a goofy car and it actually did alright with him driving. My E46 has the crappiest of crap tires and thus sucked badly to drive, but I did okay time-wise (65:xxx) given the limitations. Good to see a few autocross n00bs out there too! The day went on forever with super-long heats. We didn't wrap up until after 6 PM.

This guy is known for being a good driver (Paul Sexton) and I was endlessly amused at his autocross-Prius and the death metal that he was blasting on every run:

Tom and I decided dinner was in order before leaving for home, so a few of us hit up Billy Jack's after dropping the E30 off at Dave's place. I had a "cheesesteak" with mac & cheese used as the cheesy bit. It was amazing. Made it home in record time last night and fell into bed around 11:00.

Well done, dudes and ladies. The officers-plus-student-volunteers thing worked out really well and all of the effort you put in to the weekend showed throughout both days. Keep it up next year, new officers Tongue

I got my hopes up about being able to scoot out there for at least the show, but then my poor daughter buried the needle on her thermometer.

Looks like it was awesome with a huge turnout. Well done, guys! I've enjoyed the pics so far and looking forward to whatever other ones pop up! :thumbup:

Haven't been since like 2006...maybe next year.

Haven't been since like 2006...maybe next year.

Well hopefully I'll be in Richmond and hopefully I'll have an e46 so I'll make sure we do a little cruise in.

Baby momma kept up great in the z06. 8 months pregnant and putting those people to shame who claim the car is too low or impractical...

Im always late to the party - but man, it was good to get back for a show. Great to see old faces and really exciting to see how much the show has grown in the past couple years. Awesome job guys!
