Fender liners are huge for aero (especially on an m3), try to keep as much of them as possible. I had new ones I put on the race car I found it that important... That's my ideal solution, really. I figured they were important. I just need to figure out some places to actually tie the zip-ties. Which will require drilling holes in the liner since I ripped all the mount points off of it. Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - navin - 10-30-2013 Anyone in to split a room on Friday night? Or got space for me to crash? Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - Jake - 10-30-2013 Fender liner has been zip-tied and artistically trimmed. Car is aligned. I guess it's time to do this. Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - Maengelito - 10-31-2013 Have fun guys, I'm on baby lockdown so I'm out for this event. Someone else will have to pick up the Asian representation in the paddock for me. Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - NTIman - 10-31-2013 Jake, if you're still going to Piccadilly's and don't mind some company, I'll be roaming around downtown Winchester Friday night. Just shoot me a text when you get there and I'll meet you. Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - V1GiLaNtE - 11-01-2013 Anyone going up just Sunday from NOVA? Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - JPolen01 - 11-03-2013 Back from another fun NASA weekend. Great time with great weather. Had a good time riding pace with jake and riding shotgun with Dj as he cooked the pads and boiled the fluid in his moms e46. See you guys next season! See you guys next season! lol Now I am going to need to bleed my mom's brakes, they are shot, tires arent too hot either; we apparently overheated them and they melted the tread surface. Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - navin - 11-04-2013 Fun weekend as always, and as always something happens to be busted with my car. Thanks Jon and DJ for the bump-starts on Sunday, I owe you beers. Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - D_Eclipse9916 - 11-06-2013 Pics are up from finishline! "hey, I told you to stay off the curbs ![]() Navin's so tired from all the point-bys that he just leaves his hand on the roof. Dave driving my team's RX7 chump car...yeah its a little rough. In passenger seat of my student's car. Sums up another good weekend at Summit Point Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - Dave - 11-07-2013 Had a great time this weekend as well; it was nice to get out and drive again and always great to see everybody. Thanks to DJ for letting me take out the 7; it was a bit of an adjustment but a ton of fun. While the rotary is certainly lacking in grunt, it just revs...and revs...and REVS. What a blast. Took the WRX out too and popped its track cherry. Saturday = shaking LOTS of rust off = spongy brake pedal after half session and smoke from the wheel wells (reminded me of working with G at Honda back in the day...). Sunday was better either because it was cooler or I was compressing my brake zones, but man does this car need brakes and tires that aren't original from the factory... Re: Summit Point • November 2-3 • NASA Fall Finale - navin - 11-07-2013 Was awesome seeing you back on the track and driving Dave -- hope that fuels the fire to get the Z going again. Maybe Lindsay will come out of retirement as well ![]() |
