^^^^^^^ Julie, we were supposed to have the handouts (mini 5x7 posters) on Monday, if not, Tuesday the latest and I was planning on sending down to Jon to hand out to all of you- still haven't received in the mail!

Trying! Quaker Steak finally got back to us over the weekend and does not wish to be the "main sponsor" of the show and donate a mere $250 towards the BBBS pot........ I guess they don't understand how much $ is coming to them later on that afternoon/ evening when we head there for dinner and drinks. Big loss on their part IMO- spoke with BBBS today to help them get their e-mails together to draw the Littles out with their bigs for the dream ride event and they were upset as well.
We haz backup plans and are executing now.

Are there nice printed posters available for us to hang up? I know people at quite a few local restoration and classic part places that might help us get some more exposure.

Anyone ever submit this to the WHSV community calendar? Local TV station who might be willing to list it, especially considering the charity part of it. Just a thought.

My dad also mentioned a small local paper, the North Fork Journal (part of the daily news record) will sometimes do free ads for charity events. Might be worth looking into.

^^^^^^ I have spoken to one of their reporters already and they are interested! I was away this weekend but got back to the burg late last night- shouting out to them today, we've been having trouble with the fundraising- vendors aren't willing to be nice
This week will be full of major stepping stones for MM in prep for the show

Shit, have a wedding to go to with the wife, timeline might not work out for me to make it. I'm thinking about maybe riding to the show in a suit, then going straight to the wedding, gotta see if the weather will cooperate on that one.
