that doesn't strike me as very cheap or cool.

- Dave - 11-10-2008

I'll second Mikey. Not a particularly cool vehicle and the price isn't THAT great. Lots of new parts, but it says he has put 200k on it, and doesn't say how many people have had it before him, so I'd say that this is an average buy.

- BLINGMW - 11-10-2008

Somebody buy this '84 745 turbo and be big pimpin! I don't think there were a whole lot of these brought over in boost version.

I'm not stopping until you buy one. I've posted like six of them in this thread already. The white one on the previous page is still the hottest car in here IMO.

- .RJ - 11-27-2008

Gonna wait a while then, $16k buys a 1098 Wink

- Goodspeed - 11-27-2008

Ah, what the hell. I freakin' love these things. A lot of MM marriages lately, you know you'll need this for the kids (ConfusedhockSmile

fixed

- Mike - 11-27-2008

That v70r tickles me a great deal, but that a decent chunk of cash to throw out on a 99.

1996 Honda Accord NATCC/BTCC race car. Built by DC Sports just before the series was cancelled, never driven. Rolling chassis, no motor/trans/shocks. Owner planned to install a K20 to compete in NASA time trial and historic series. $18k in Arizona, comes with various spare parts

18k for a gutted / caged RHD Accord with a body kit and no drivetrain? Is that a good deal?

- Evan - 11-29-2008

terrible deal.

that car would be hard to sell for 1/5 of that

Interesting...I have no idea what race cars sell for. I only know what I've seen in the back of GRM, C5 Z06's and AI Mustangs etc. Anyway in the listing I read the seller passed this off as the creme de la creme of FWD track cars worthy of a serious collector etc.

There isnt anything in that car, as it sits, that you couldnt replicate for half of the asking price, IMO.

If it came with a drivetrain then the asking price would be reasonable.

- Mike - 11-29-2008

it's got some nice custom bits, but as it sits it isn't worth more than 5k... most of which is due to it having some history.

- WRXtranceformed - 11-29-2008

GT35R'd built motor '97 M3 @ $23,000? Don't know if that's a good price or not. 2500 on the motor though.

Those wheels are kind of ghetto, but looks like a clean build.

- Mike - 11-29-2008

I'd say that's about 10k over what it's worth.

yeah, the problem is that when it comes to racecars, the market is completely different from what you might expect. #1 problem with that car is that is just doesnt have a place to race. Thats a pretty big problem for a racecar, and since racecars always sell for pennies on the dollar anyway it takes an even bigger hit. So really all it is is an accord shell and rollcage.
