Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-17-2011 DJ - these are some quick specs I found online. I can take some measurements if you are want. Nardi Deep Corn 330mm Black Perforated Leather - Black Spokes and Red Thread 53mm offset Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - Steve85 - 07-18-2011 Shut up guys... he needs to get rid of that JDM front. I have a great place to dispose of that unwanted JDM front and fenders, hood, lights you could use to transfer to the 97 look. (Bumper is 99, I bought the wrong headlights a while back and they are 94-97 style). Very nice ITR BTW! Congrats on the find. Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-18-2011 LOL - Are you trying to hint at something Steve? Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - Steve85 - 07-18-2011 navin Wrote:LOL - Are you trying to hint at something Steve? I thought it was subtle  Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-18-2011 I'd rather get rid of it local - i'll throw in some blingy 6000k HIDs along with it for free
Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-28-2011 So - anyone have recomendations within the VA/MD/DC area of a body shop that is competent with welding a new core support, etc. Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - JustinG - 07-28-2011 or you could keep it JDM YO Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - Kaan - 07-28-2011 Vienna Autobody but you should just keep it JDM Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-28-2011 SHADDUP - the both of ya's. If you saw the mickey mouse work that the previous owner did with the conversion, then you'd support the usdm front. Ahh, here's to finding out you might have got yourself knee deep into more work than you thought. Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - Kaan - 07-28-2011 well if you want to repare the JDM mickey mouse BS... you can borrow my welder
Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-28-2011 Me + welder = DO NOT WANT. Wanted to pull the suspension off to do bushings, but looks like I need this thing rolling to take to the body shop. I wonder how fast I can pull a motor out these days, hmm.. DJ - wanna swing by the hoist sometime?
Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - D_Eclipse9916 - 07-28-2011 Hoist was sold a while ago. Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-28-2011 Son of a.. Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - Steve85 - 07-28-2011 I has hoist, welder and early front.....I needs JDM.... fair trade! BTW, it's prolly worth what you want, it's just more than I want to spend on my 180K mile Honda. Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-28-2011 All good Steve - who knows, I might let it go super cheap. I haven't posted it up yet for sale - don't feel like dealing with the idiots on h-tech. Welp, hopefully the next update will be the motor out of the car, and some new OEM non-bling ordered. Body work is so expansiv! Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - Sully - 07-29-2011 Do you know PO's name, a friend of mine had a car like this one not too long ago, just curious if it was his Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-29-2011 Person who I bought it from was named Brandon, he basically drove the car for 2,xxx miles. I know of the kid who owned it before him, David. Supposedly just sat in his garage for awhile. I found a thread about the car on h-tech - who i guess was the owner before David. That guy was a donk, didnt even know he bought the car with an LS VTEC. Anyways - #$#@$ shift linkage pins. Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - JustinG - 07-29-2011 so wait.......someone popped the motor, and put in a LS Vtec? WHY? Cheap? Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - navin - 07-29-2011 lol, this car has had at least 3 different motors from what i've heard through previous owners. 1. built 2.0L 2. LS-VTEC 3. current motor Re: Project 1997 ITR #280 - JustinG - 07-29-2011 silly hondas, motors are like LEGOs |
