I'll throw it on some of the Subaru boards but you'll need to post some contact information.

Mike Wrote:jack and i both worked for them a few years back. you can expet to be undercut on the private party value of you car by a couple thousand. i only recommend them to someone who doesn't give a damn and just wants a change of car TODAY.

or someone who has a messed up car and wants to get rid of it Wink. We took the gf's Saturn there after trying to fix the check engine light problem. Turns out it had a blown headgasket (like all saturns) and I told her not to dump any money in that POS. CARMAX gave us $1200 for it.

yeah... they also don't drive the cars Tongue recommended them to my boss whose tranny is going out.

So - I put this on autotrader and craigslist...already have a girl who is sweatin it - but she's out of town on business until next friday..damnit! If she was in town right now, that CTS-V would be as good as mine

Well, after like 3 months of debating it, and people showing up (or more likely, not) I think I'm just going to keep this car for another year or two. I may even start doing a few minor things to it. I think a car with > 400HP is in my future, and if I can hold onto this when that time comes, I may do that just because it's a nice car and I've started to like it..it's a lot of fun to drive in the summer - top open, windows down..and actually has a good sound to it, to be a half-pint. I think a chip, pads, and new tires would do wonders for this car.

Downpipe and ProTune... downpipe and ProTune... DOWNPIPE AND PROTUNE!!!

A nicely done up Legacy is just awesome. Guy down here has one lowered, gorgeous exhaust tone, and very fast... I'm quite jealous. The tag reads "FMLY SDN" with the only hint of its quickness is a very subtle FMIC sitting up front

- HAULN-SS - 05-15-2007

Heh, I like the idea of FMIC - but I'd have to replace the bling up top with something or it'd just feel naked ;x

- WRXtranceformed - 05-16-2007

You replace the bling up top with even blinger intercooler piping my friend!

You don't need a FMIC though, just a turboback exhaust, meth injection, ProTune, springs / sways and call it a day Wink

how much power can that auto tranny take?

- HAULN-SS - 05-17-2007

Some guy on the Legacy GT forums has been building a drag car using the 5EAT and is pushing more than 400HP at the wheels, and as far as I can tell only swapped in a higher stall converter.

edit: oh, and a cooler - but that's pretty easy/obivious
