I am considering doing some swapping around...for what, I'm not entirely sure yet, not entirely decided I even want to get rid of this car....so basically, don't try to lowball me..the price is fair, and probably better than you'll find at a dealer.

I've been getting 21mpg average, 28 on the roadtrips

Looking to get $23,500 out of it.

hah. nah, because I'm quite sure it wouldnt...but we've been down that road. I'm thinking of getting something a little bigger. I may not, just kicking around some ideas at htis point.

heh. I have thought about bringing my white one up here and driving it around while I search, but I dunno - its a hassle to transport a car. It runs just fine, thanks, and ever since I fixed the carb on it, is getting decent gas mileage..w00t. If I dont sell this and get something else though, I'm gonna hop right on getting that 71 running. Ive got a burning feeling in my pocket for some reason.

Also - I noticed theres a carmax near my house - they do buyouts right? Any idea how comparable they are to trading in? strictly KBB trade-in values?

jack and i both worked for them a few years back. you can expet to be undercut on the private party value of you car by a couple thousand. i only recommend them to someone who doesn't give a damn and just wants a change of car TODAY.

Wouldn't that be the same as other trade-ins though? (which was the original question)

I mean it's not private party resale so you shouldn't expect to get that.

Well, I solved all this for you guys. I went there today just for kicks, only took about 30 minutes. They offered $21,000 for it.

And by pictures, do you mean as it sits right now, or since its been in my posession?
