- Kaan - 10-19-2004 i cant post or anything... stupid government computers... i can read all i want i just cant comment.... RJ did you muzzle me? - Dragon - 10-19-2004 Prolly, you need it afterall. - .RJ - 10-19-2004 "muzzle (for kaan)" is actually listed on our autocross supplies list
- Kaan - 10-19-2004 i thought it was "bull horn(for kaan)" in the supply list - .RJ - 10-19-2004 The "bullhorn" was replaced by "muzzle" - Kaan - 10-19-2004 so i speak my mind... thats never going to change... and you know that - KPWSerpiente - 10-19-2004 I'm not going to exclude anyone, obviously any paid member is invited. I can see that at least some people have heated interest in the dynopulling area and I apologize for making it sound like I wouldn't let you come. I just feel that 11 alumni and myself dynoing our cars for a day would not benefit the club as much as if a dozen of the new guys did...the club needs more events so that the new guys can chill out, become good friends so that the club continues. Either way, we do need some cold hard facts from Ultimate so I'll get back on those. -T - Mike - 10-19-2004 okok, so we're only like half members then. my suggestion? suck it up... you have enough events down there at school that "new people" can participate in without any interference from the alumni. - Kaan - 10-19-2004 if it came down to me or a new guy dynoing on your dyno day... i would step back... because i'm only dynoing on your dyno day for fun. my motor and data is on a totally different dyno.... its the exclusion that i hate the most. - Dave - 10-19-2004 okay, how about this. Everybody that has any interest needs to speak up now, regardless of when, where, who, what, or why. Travis, you talk to the shop and see what they think in terms of price, date, staffing, time of week, etc. Until any of this in concrete, nobody needs to get pissy. Since this would be a club sponsored event, any paid MM member will have access to the dyno first before anybody else. Since all money is coming to me to do this (read: MM event = that's the way it gets done), then I get to cross-reference against the member list anyways, so it won't be a problem. - Kaan - 10-19-2004 i wont be there... and the point is you cant planning an event that excludes any member (OG, alum, or current student) .... i dont care what stage of planning its in... if someone doesnt want to come to the event at summit its not because we told them they cant. we arent telling paid members... you cant come to the homecoming party cause your old... to exclude any member is total bullshit... - Mike - 10-19-2004 kaan, my head a splode. - ScottyB - 10-19-2004 everybody calm down. this is something more than half the club wouldn't go to anyway. outrage and strife is reserved for political threads only  - deeseetoo - 10-19-2004 I'm interested in getting a baseline for my car, if there is going to be a cut on the tuning price i wouldn't mind it being sooner than later. Is ultimate the only place you talked to? I know AR Fab and Inline have done dyno days like this before, + AR Fab has an AWD dynojet too. - Kaan - 10-19-2004 B and T motorsports who i talked to this morning offers a group rate of 8 hours for $800 .... unlimted hook ups... we figure out how we want to divide the time... its a dynopack 3000 dyno like JE uses. - .RJ - 10-19-2004 $100/hr - so... roughly $75 per person for 3 pulls? - Kaan - 10-19-2004 ok if thats how you do the math... but i did 8 pulls in 1 hour.... if that helps. - Dave - 10-19-2004 .RJ Wrote:$100/hr - so... roughly $75 per person for 3 pulls?I wouldn't want 3 pulls. Most i'd want would be 2, since I just want to see what I've been putting down all this time. - Kaan - 10-19-2004 since i have to semi trouble shoot and dial in the safc2 i'll do all that on my own time... i have no idea how long it will take on the dyno. - JohnC - 10-19-2004 Dave Wrote:.RJ Wrote:$100/hr - so... roughly $75 per person for 3 pulls?I wouldn't want 3 pulls. Most i'd want would be 2, since I just want to see what I've been putting down all this time. Same for me - just a couple of pulls would be fine. |
