Clearly people aren't against car show participants in MM.

Seems like you have a solid route, hope everything works out for the new group.

I like new ideas and all, but what are your plans to do the "regular" MM stuff better?

Karting, Turducken, Track Events, Autocross, Factory/Museum Tours, Parties, TopGear Nights, Social Activities, Student Org Night, Classroom Meets, Car Show, Cruises, Cookouts, College Solo, etc?

I want to hear how y'all will do these bigger and better. Don't try to reinvent the wheel when it's not turning properly in the first place.

All those things lacked this year was proper planning, and if you know me you know I do things way in advanced and nail down every single detail I can think of, which I know will be a strong suit as an officer. Also goes back to social media presence and getting the word out to more people.

RE: Brandon Itkin - Vice President - Senor_Taylor - 03-28-2018

Okay, so explain how you'll plan it better.

That’s something easier to show than write out as every event is different. Planning isn’t the hard part, it’s getting it done early enough so people can be informed, have time to offer input, can take off work, and be able to spread the word.

RE: Brandon Itkin - Vice President - rydercp - 03-28-2018

I know that you are quite busy with work and being a COB student, much respect.

Are you prepared to make some sacrifices to make MM a priority?

Well I already have MM as a priority and have spent countless hours every week ensuring things run smoothly and events are properly prepared so it won’t be much different. But I know 300 will be more demanding, and I’m still willing to sacrifice my time for the sake of bettering this club, or else I wouldn’t be running in the first place.

Unfortunately "take my word for it" doesn't really give much hope. Tangible ideas go a long way in proving yourself.

What type of things have you been spending countless hours every single week on. Won't be much different because you've been implementing concrete plans? Won't be much different because you are already in a leadership position? As an officer I hope you are prepared to have more definitive responsibilities.

Again, every event is different. I can draft up a schedule for every event next year, the ways we will reach out, when we will reach out, how things will be funded, who needs to be contacted, when we will talk about it in the meetings, forum postings for each event, rides for each event, times/dates/locations, alum outreach, and any legal liabilities. Those are the things I’m going to make sure are done WELL in advanced of any and all events we will have. With that I am confident events will have a bigger turnout and have a more quality experience for everyone. I am open to anything I missed though.

And all of the thing have been implemented? Or are these future things you have been working on by yourself to prepare for next year?

RE: Brandon Itkin - Vice President - Senor_Taylor - 03-28-2018

Seems you've done a lot of work without being in an officer position.

I agree with Matthew though, take some time, write up some ideas you have.

One thing to remember, is at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much one person gets done, it matters what the collective officers get done.

All things that have been done this year so far, but will all be equally implemented next year and done even better based on learning experiences from doing them this year.

Agreed, it’s not one person running the club. I will write up these things up, just not sure if there is anything I haven’t already covered that can be done this far in advanced other than summer events

Yes this the point I was trying to make, we haven't seen much of this from the officers stand point. Excluding the poster.

Brandon, I asked you a simple question. Why are you being so aggressive about me asking one serious question?

RE: Brandon Itkin - Vice President - rydercp - 03-28-2018

He claimed he wouldn't have ran in the first place had he not known MM would need to be a top priority after I had asked if he would make it a top priority since I know he has a lot going on. Maybe I misinterpreted that as being aggressive, if so, my bad.

RE: Brandon Itkin - Vice President - GTBrandon - 03-28-2018

Here is a schedule for the next 10 months of MM. Open to suggestions.
