I've driven a RHD Hilux Surf Diesel! Mike Skeen had one and Kelly let me drive it when Tom and I visited on our way home from Road Atlanta a few years back.
The RHD thing is weird, they are tremendously slow, and there is a "TURBO" light that comes on when it is turboing.
