With currently only about 55,000 kms on the odometer, the car has only been used for “special occasions”. It has been very well maintained and is in great condition. Despite all of this, Josef feels compelled to sell it -and some of the other ones in his current collection- for personal reasons. Yes we realize that you couldn't go to the Mazda dealer in 1992 in Japan and buy a MAZDASPEED FD RX-7. 2003 was the first year you could buy a car from Mazda that was built and tuned by MAZDASPEED. But what you could do is buy your car from Mazda and have MAZDASPEED build it for you. This car has a MAZDASPEED plate with a serial number on it that we are researching with Mazda Japan to gather more information on the build. With Öhlins dampers and the MAZDASPEED springs she handles incredibly crisp yet forgiving. She is very fast and that rotary engine with Blitz intakes and exhaust sounds so sweet! The paint looks to be original and does have some small chips but overall it is in very good condition. Those wheels, would you just look at the wheels! They are MAZDASPEED MS-01 17" wheels by RAYS and they are just sublime. We looked into how much they cost and to buy a set will run you $5200! Add to the wheels genuine MAZDASPEED aero and wing and the results are just jaw dropping. Please come see this amazing FD for yourself you will not be disappointed.
