I'm going down Friday night so I'll come out early and help get stuff set up. Not sure if we're staying in town Saturday night, but if we are I'm down for a cruise.
I think I promised Matthew an M3 test drive, which I'll make good on this weekend assuming it can make it all the way down there without any catastrophic failures. :thumbup:

Don't rush, it takes exponentially longer than you think it will to get everything sorted. I bought the M3 in the summer of 2009 thinking i'd sort out a few of the issues and have it right where I wanted by the time I got to school that fall. *Snort* It took about 4 years to get it where I though I'd have it in 6 months, and now it needs a complete motor refresh, which I hope to do this year, but based on past experiences I can expect to get it done sometime before 2020. :roll:
I don't have any extra fogs, they kept breaking so I stopped buying them. I don't think Jake does either but DJ probably does. DJ has 3 of everything.

Ask DJ... the only spare light assembly I have is a passenger headlight. And I need the fogs for now on my car, because with misaligned headlights, the fogs actually let me see the road at night. Eep.

Sorry, none in my inventory, I know, shocker. They like to crack and pop out when you hit stuff, I replaced with the fog light delete panels. I can ask around.
+1 don't be in a rush. The interwebz always makes things look like project cars come together in 20 days. They CAN, if you have no life, expectations of it expecting 3x the cost estimate, and like pain (been there done that). Relax, take one step at a time and enjoy the process.

You could, you know, twist the little knob adjuster thingy so you can drive it safely at night...

I know, I gotta find somewhere flat with a wall nearby so I can see what I'm adjusting. I adjusted the Miata's lights at an elementary school against the side of the building.

Maybe I'll take out the other fog lamp and just get a cover for the gap, as well...or just peruse craiglist until someone parts out their e36...yeeaaahh I think I'll do that :lol:
Damn I wish I could even at least give my car a simple clay bar, compound, polish and wax along with a thorough interior cleaning before the show. But with my roof peeling its a waste of time and it won't even look like a nice stock pretty e36 parked up beside all other beauties to be there if I did all that. Oh well.

Put a piece of tape under both of my front wheels, turn my car on and put pieces of tape on the wall where the light is focused. Switch spots and put yours in exactly the same place and make your lights hit the pieces of tape.
