Oh damn...never thought I'd see this beast again. This came out to the '06 Motorshow (I think it was...one of the Dryft ones), I'm sure a few of you remember. It had swords in the rear hatch area and the shift knob was a metal black widow sculpture :evileye:

Re: Heinous cars that are trying SO HARD to be well done! - JPolen01 - 04-09-2014

New gen mustang with older front/rear?

Re: Heinous cars that are trying SO HARD to be well done! - Mike - 04-09-2014

so they took a retro-inspired car and added a little more retro flair and in a relatively tasteful way?

not sure on that one.

I wouldn't call it heinous. Other than the fact its a mustang to begin with.

It's a current-gen Mustang with a '69/'70 Boss 302 front and rear. Not the most heinous thing I've ever seen, but a big ol' pile of derp nonetheless.

It's at least not as heinous as the modern Vette/'57 Bel Air/'59 Impala mashup - of which I saw one on the road a while back.

The mustang's proportions are what make it seem gross.

They picked the wrong year. The 67-68 are the good ones. 69-70 were fugly

Yea. Im not saying it would work in that context, it's just a better looking car than the mach series mustangs IMHO.
