Speed Channel Alert - G.Irish - 06-26-2005 2:00 pm MotoGP 250 Dutch Grand Prix 3:00 pm MotoGP World Championship Dutch Grand Prix 4:00 pm Speed Touring Car Championship Cleveland 5:00 pm Speed GT Championship Cleveland I think I'll tape it for the benefit of the less fortunate. - JohnC - 06-26-2005 I love my new Tivo Got it on Thursday, already have like 6 hours worth of races on it...
- .RJ - 06-26-2005 NASCAR is at infinion raceway (starting at 2:30 or 3) also - always worth a look - ScottyB - 06-26-2005 i was going to go to the afternoon showing of batman begins, but from 4 to 6, my ass will be planted in front of the tube! - G.Irish - 06-26-2005 God dammit, Rossi strikes again! What is it gonna take to stop this guy?! - .RJ - 06-26-2005 Fuck PK. I hate that guy. - G.Irish - 06-26-2005 Hey it was a gutsy move and he made it stick. Sucks that Espenlaub pushed wide and shoved PD off but luckily they didn't lose any more positions. - JohnC - 06-26-2005 .RJ Wrote:Fuck PK. I hate that guy. Agreed - that was weak as hell. - .RJ - 06-26-2005 G.Irish Wrote:Hey it was a gutsy move and he made it stick He didnt make it stick - coming in with the brakes locked up, stuck a car width in a half-car width space and pushed the other two (including his own teammate) off the fucking track! - G.Irish - 06-26-2005 Where's the instant replay! Cleveland is the widest track they race at, wide enough for them to go 5 wide maybe. I agree it was a late move but Espenlaub didn't back out of it and he went off. If it was a case of PK coming in too hot and bouncing off Espenlaub then Espenlaub would have gone off at the entrance or halfway through the corner. He went out at the exit because he didn't back out of it and PD was along for the ride. John do you have the race on Tivo? - .RJ - 06-26-2005 At the exit? Get your eyes checked son, PK had his fender buried inside espenlaub's door at the apex! - JohnC - 06-26-2005 G.Irish Wrote:Where's the instant replay! Post the video! - G.Irish - 06-26-2005 Whoa, close finish in GT. Oh yeah, those Viper guys sure do know how to wad it up  - ScottyB - 06-26-2005 yeah, i feel bad for Esplandau. he ran a hard race and got dicked over by some poor driving on PK's part. sure, maybe the track had some grits and crap on the outside edges but that should have been taken into account when braking that hard and taking a poor line in. i was also dissapointed by Maki (slower of the stasis audi pair) driving like a fool and almost punting that poor guy in the 3 series, twice! his worst hit was inexcusable. the GT championship was exciting from start to finish. i can't believe Archer came in that hot on the first turn after the start, he's an experienced guy....wouldn't have thought he'd do that. and check out Galati in the S60R.....jumping 21 places! congrats to him, especially in a newer platform. what a finish to that race, i knew it would be close, but not that close. - Maengelito - 06-26-2005 i hate all of you. - JohnC - 06-26-2005 Maengelito Wrote:i hate all of you. You're more than welcome to come watch the races at my place... Anyone is , for that matter. Just bring beer. - G.Irish - 06-26-2005 ScottyB Wrote:i was also dissapointed by Maki (slower of the stasis audi pair) driving like a fool and almost punting that poor guy in the 3 series, twice! his worst hit was inexcusable. Maki is the same guy who took out James at Road Atlanta I believe. James was saying he's taken people out several other times too. - Maengelito - 06-26-2005 JohnC Wrote:Maengelito Wrote:i hate all of you. i probably would have if i didnt have a make up softball game today... which we lost - ScottyB - 06-26-2005 G.Irish Wrote:ScottyB Wrote:i was also dissapointed by Maki (slower of the stasis audi pair) driving like a fool and almost punting that poor guy in the 3 series, twice! his worst hit was inexcusable. really, thats lame. i haven't had speed channel in the past so this is the first race of the series that i've been able to watch. |
