Hey it was a gutsy move and he made it stick. Sucks that Espenlaub pushed wide and shoved PD off but luckily they didn't lose any more positions.

He didnt make it stick - coming in with the brakes locked up, stuck a car width in a half-car width space and pushed the other two (including his own teammate) off the fucking track!

Where's the instant replay! Cleveland is the widest track they race at, wide enough for them to go 5 wide maybe. I agree it was a late move but Espenlaub didn't back out of it and he went off. If it was a case of PK coming in too hot and bouncing off Espenlaub then Espenlaub would have gone off at the entrance or halfway through the corner. He went out at the exit because he didn't back out of it and PD was along for the ride.

John do you have the race on Tivo?

yeah, i feel bad for Esplandau. he ran a hard race and got dicked over by some poor driving on PK's part. sure, maybe the track had some grits and crap on the outside edges but that should have been taken into account when braking that hard and taking a poor line in.

i was also dissapointed by Maki (slower of the stasis audi pair) driving like a fool and almost punting that poor guy in the 3 series, twice! his worst hit was inexcusable.

the GT championship was exciting from start to finish. i can't believe Archer came in that hot on the first turn after the start, he's an experienced guy....wouldn't have thought he'd do that. and check out Galati in the S60R.....jumping 21 places! congrats to him, especially in a newer platform. what a finish to that race, i knew it would be close, but not that close.

Maki is the same guy who took out James at Road Atlanta I believe. James was saying he's taken people out several other times too.
