Polish Mountain Hill Climb

What this is, is SCCA shuts down a "mountain pass", and just like an autocross, you go as fast from start to finish as possible. I was wondering if anyone in MM has done this before? It is an officially sanctioned SCCA event and requires an SCCA Competition License or Time Trial License. Luckily SCCA and NASA recognize each other's licenses (but not memberships).

This looks like a freaking blast! I wonder if we could get any MMers to work this as it would seem like this would be a really cool one to work or drive. I am tempted to work this one, so im still in the air wether I will drive or not.

The cars also need to prepped to SCCA time trial status (more than just hpde prep).

I'll crew if you decide to drive -- I remember NASA used to do a hill climb at Snowshoe. I think the only requirements were a 4pt bar + driver suit. I forget about experience, but I'm probably just blacking something out.

I would be interested in heading out there for the day on Saturday most likely. Don't know anything about "crewing", but would love to learn if you decide to drive or just hang out and spectate.

I think thats the same rules for tech as SCCA, but you need to have your license.

Your more than welcome to crew, I hopefully wont need anyone, but I was more talking about flagging a corner at an event like this would be really cool. Unfortunately I cant let anyone co-drive, as this event looks pretty dangerous, and between the aero, high ramp decel diff, and suspension setup, the car isnt the easiest to drive.

Actually mid-may I may have you crew, AKA keep throwing ice in my cool-suit, and force me to remember to use my AIM and GoPros :lol:
