Is two better than one? (Electric Fans)
#1
Ok so I am thinkin of going electric fans when I refresh my cooling system on the M as soon as I get the cash to do so.

I'm definatley going an aluminum radiator and looking at different fans...it looks like a popular choice is a 16" fan that looks like it would be the same size as stock and fit within the stock shroud, but would it be better to get say two 10" fans and an aluminum shroud or perhaps no shroud with two fans...any suggestions, advice, or past experience?

Are you just talking about from a reliability/redundancy standpoint? I don't consider the fan a critical component, so I guess I wouldn't sweat it. I've driven for a week or two with no radiator fan, which is fine as long as your temp gauge works, you're paying attention, and your commute isn't constant traffic. The 16" and a fan controller seems pretty nice to me:

That being said I'm just hardwiring mine to run constantly because I'm a cheapskate
