My buddy has a 2004 WRX that it is completely stock AFAIK, and I think has 80k-ish miles on it. He's talking like the dealer is wanting to give him 8100 for that. Doesnt that seem really low? I did a brief scan of reston auto trader and CL, seems like there are a ton of STi out there for sale, a lot fewer wrx

8100 is probably spot on for trade-in. Maybe even a little generous.
I mean, it's a 7MY old car. He could probably get 10ish if he cleaned it up, made sure all the maintenance was done, etc.

Hrmm..I think that's what he was thinking, but i expanded my search around reston to 04/05 wrx and there were quite a few listed at 10-12k. Guess I'd want to go for that extra couple grand if it was me
