The idea is to keep it light... business doesn't need to be serious.

inexpensive, honest work in the IT business? blasphemy!
as you said the site is simple and gets the message across without the pretty and annoying ads. this being said, i'm fine with the looks of the site and it functions well so far. i'm certainly not a graphic designer, but given your target market i would maybe place atleast some sort of banner image? i like the name, although when i first read your URL i thought it said ITB Mike....
i'll be more than happy to spread the word to anyone who may be needing your services.
"inexpensive, honest work in the IT business? blasphemy!" - sad, isn't it? The whole "we work honestly" thing is just too easy. Nobody likes their IT consultants... I aim to change that.
Hehe... yeah, I struggled with the naming thing. Basically, I needed IT to be in there, but IT can be merged in to so many other meanings... Oh well.
On the logo thing, I pseudo agree. I am happy with how it is now, but a logo would be nice. I'm no good with graphics...
Spreading the word is appreciated. I'm trying to keep business to any place that is Metro accessible. Arlington and DC are preferred.

looks great, but i agree a simple logo would be nice. it would give someone something to remember once they've viewed your site.

I think the site design reflects the ideals you are trying to convey. A simple logo would be nice. If you do some sort of banner image you need to make it honest, a picture that includes you (and if you have somebody working with you). If you're not comfy with a pic of yourself on there, just please avoid the requisite picture of an Asian guy, black woman and gray-haired white guy leaning over a laptop in a conference room.
I also really like the idea of updating the site every few days. I think it really personalizes it, again adding to the honesty and integrity you're trying to sell.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
