The title of the vid mentioned a 5.0L, is it fuel injected or has it been converted to run a carburetor? Post up some pics, I love me some old school Mustangs.

Its Carb'd, fuel injection was a little labor intensive and expensive, although that was the original plan.

It started out as a junkyard 5.0 HO out of some 89 lincoln. we punched it out .030 over, used a stock crank turned .010, its god forged eagle I-beam rods, forged speedpro pistons, comp cams .512/.512 280/280 degree cam, comp cams timing set, comp cams roller rockers, comp cams pushrods, comp cams valve springs, crane rocker stud conversion, crane retainers/keepers, trick flow 1.6 ratio aluminum roller rockers, stock iron heads, with new stock valves, its got ford racing valve covers, edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold, and a 4150 600cfm holley w/ edelbrock air cleaner, holley electric fuel pump, MSD blaster 2 coil, 6AL ignition box, and pro billet distributer, fluidyne 4 core aluminum radiator, and a steel 4 blade fan.

Other than that its got a zoom clutch, toploader 4 speed tranny, and a 9 inch rear with 3.89:1 gear set with an open differential.

Its been converted to the Granada front end with disc brakes, and the rear has disc brakes as well.

Exhaust is a flowmaster H-pipe and mufflers.

Here are a few pictures. Its not the prettiest, but its a work in process. If it were clean, it'd look way better, but its been sitting in the garage for several months.

LOL My boss told me I should put a C4 in it today. I told him he was nuts.

I gotta rebuild the transmission though, its got a killer bearing noise in it.

Yeah I ran across his name last night.

I've rebuilt a NASCAR style Jerico 4-speed, which is relatively simple, so I'm not sweating it too much, I just gotta come up with money for parts and then stop being lazy and take a day to do it.

Love the old mustang...sounds great by the way. Flowmaster 40 series? I've got a forged 331 w/AFR heads sitting in my garage getting ready to go in my brothers 94 GT at some point this summer. Question tho: what are the cam specs @ .050?
There's no replacement for displacement except rectangular dollars.
