Paypal Sux0rs

So my paypal account got scammed for ~400$ this weekend for some unauthorized transactions that were caught in progress, so no money due, there. Kind of odd because I haven't used it for months, if not years. Anyhow, I called the security people at paypal, and apparently they will send you an RSA token for free, just for asking, if you want that linked to your account.

That some chinaman was able to attempt unauthorized payments without my consent, and I had to send proof to the bank that I had filed the appropriate paperwork with paypal saying it was cancelled.

Someone was able to charge $1k on my credit card without my consent... but I didn't have to pay a dime. I guess I'm just not sure why you're complaining when they did their job, covered your ass and you aren't any worse for it. For all you know, it was your password that sucked, not Paypal.

I know a good password when I make one. I'm pretty sure they got hax0red and aren't owning up to it. If they got my account, they got other accounts, because all of the suspicious transactions mysteriously added up to a nice round 400$. it was a coordinated effort for sure. Also, if they were doing their job, they would take care of it with the bank, not me, which has 400$ of pending transactions out there, and has to take my word for it that they are bogus transactions, and i am not sure yet if they are going to charge me to stop payment on the "e-checks"
