Worlds most expensive Shelby for sale tonight

Mecum Auto Auctions is going to auction off CSX2601 - a 1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe. If you guys get the HD Theater channel, the auction will be on from 6-2 tonight, not sure when during that time they are selling the Daytona Coupe. Guesstimates are the car will bring in the neighborhood of 10-15 million.

I'm surprised that car went to Mecum and not to one of the other higher end auctions. All of the Mecum auctions I've watched didn't exactly have high rollers there for the most part.

Yeah I know, I thought it was odd they didn't take it to Barrett-Jackson or an RM auction. The car didn't even bring 7 million...

i caught a glimpse of it as i was flipping channes... they're showing it from a plexiglass enclosure... like a model car
