Cruise up to Summit Point for NASA Weekend 4/25

So, this Saturday is looking to have a high around 85 and sunny, sounds like a perfect day to do some top off/down/windows down (for lame hardtoppers) cruising.

I'm planning on going up to Summit Point for the NASA HPDE weekend event on Saturday to spectate/film for a few hours and head back. We did this last semester and had a few cars go up taking the scenic route and highway back, but the idea is simple: cruise up, get ride alongs, hang out/have lunch and head back whenever we want.

I'm actually interested in taking the Skyline Drive up to 522/340 into Summit Point. I'd probably want to be at the track around 1 or so which would mean leaving H'burg at roughly 10am.

You can ride up with me if you want to feel the Miata magic while yours is out of commission. You'll have to get a ride back with Goody though, because I'm continuing on to NoVA - spending the night at home so I can do an autocross Sunday morning at FedEx Field.
