We at Whiplash are proud to announce that we are now an authorized dealer of Falken wheels and tires. We just placed our first order of 10,000 tires and wheel and we will be carrying the full line!! As always we will be offering discounts to Madison Motorsports. We are expecting our delivery around April 9th or 10th. We will be at the car show this weekend so if there are any questions please stop by and see us at our booth!

I'm new to the boards, so I hope you can forgive me for these questions. But, what/where is Whiplash?

Also, will you be getting the Falken Ziex ZE-912 in 215/45/17 and how much will they be for a set of 4?

Lastly, do you also sell Nitto tires? Specifically the NeoGens in 215/45/17 and the Invos in 225/45/17 (sadly, Nitto doesn't offer the Invo in 215... Cry

)?

Awesome, I pretty much only buy Falken tires now. Are you willing to ship for a reasonable price? I've been buying online from DTD but I'd rather support a board member.

Whiplash is located in Woodstock about 30 minutes north of Harrisonburg so we are pretty close to you guys.

We do sell Nitto tires and lots of them! The price for the 215/45/17 Neo-Gen is $90.66 per tire and that includes mount, balance, valve stems, free tire rotation for the life of the tires and a free 4 wheel alignment check. These tires are available to me at 8:00am on Friday. Please call me at 540-459-3211 and my name is Jay.

We can ship tires I just need to know size and weight to get a quote on shipping.

Thanks for the quick response, but could you answer my other questions? I'm in the market for tires because I don't think I will pass my next safety inspection in September lol.

1) Will you be getting the Falken Ziex ZE-912 in 215/45/17? How much are they?

2) Do you have the Nitto Invos in 225/45/17? How much are they?

Considering your close proximity to Harrisonburg and great prices, I will definitely be looking up Whiplash in the not too distant future. Merchants Tires wants $630ish for 4 Nitto NeoGens, mounted, balanced... I like your $90 per tire. ^_^

The Nitto iNVO in 225/45/17 is $114.50 installed, although with your lowered Scion I would recommend the Neo-Gen instead. The Neos are designed for lowered vehicles with the outside shoulder block in a continuous rib design so it does not wear as fast as as other tires on lowered vehicles. These are very sticky tires as well, I just put them on for my alignment tech with a boosted and lowered Civic and he says they are outstanding traction and a great ride.

Hey DJ the Toyos I can get are Proxes TR1 for $192.14 installed. I know it's probably not a great price but we are not an actual dealer for Toyo although I can get them. Let me know guys, either of these tires I can have tomorrow.

Well, tbh, I won't be needing the tires for at least 4 months. But I will definitely be looking up Whiplash and you, Jay, when I do.

And I appreciate the advice on the Neos over the Invos. I will go that route when I order from you in the future. I just want to get away from the stock Bridgestone Craptenzas that come on the tC. They are awesome tires on smaller vehicles, but just don't have the necessary grip for my ride T_T

Yeah we are not a fan of Bridgestone at all...too expensive for the quality, we have seen seperated belts in the past with those tires. The Falken pricing, which will be very good, is not available to me yet until we unload and inventory the 10,000 tires we ordered (which may take a few days) but I will be happy to quote everyone with whatever size and type you may need!

For 245/40/17 there is Kumho ASX for $116.12, Direzza DZ101 for $116.10, Continental SportCon3 for $188.02.

In general, I hear nothing but good things about Kumho Ecstas, assuming they come in 215/45/18. And look into the Nitto Invos. I was gonna go with those until Jay recommended I go with the Nitto NeoGens instead since NeoGens are designed for lowered cars with negative camber.
