Kick ass place I went too (lots of pics)

Well, my brother and I decided to go camping at a friend of ours who lives on a nearby mountain. While there the guy who owns the place wants to take us on a hike to what he calls The Channels. They are crazy ass rock formations. In order to get there you have to drive on a rutted gravel/dirt road for 1.5 miles and then the trail gets narrow and we drove on a Gator 6x4 for about 2 more miles. Then you have to hike up the mountain for 2 miles. At the top is a really cool place called the firetower, I've got some pics of that too.

Its crazy they have a huge iron tower from the 1950's and there is basically no driveable road to the top now.

Once at the firetower, you hike down the other side of the mountain about 1/4 mile and you arrive at The Channels. These are some cool ass rock formations that make the whole hike worth it.
