WTB: Western Digital Drive - Caviar WD800JD-00JNC

My buddy is about to lose a ton of data unless he can get a control board from the particular hard drive listed in the title (if you missed it: Western Digital Caviar WD800JD-00JNC). Apparently the Model Revision (the last four in the long ass part name) is very important. It's from Dell - so, if you've got part staches I'm sure he'd really appreciate if you took the time to go through them. He's willing to pay pay whatever price is fair.

Oh - and you don't have to separate the board out. Sell him the drive and he'll do whatever he needs to

Well, I've got a western digital drive that is a caviar something, but I'll have to check when I get home what the model # is on the end. However, that is the drive that crashed, so I have no idea if its usable for him. Chances are something on the board fried because it wont even power up.

Thanks, Maeng. It's worth a shot. He says 90% of the time it's a different component of the drive that fails, so it may be of use.
