Flew into it to visit my brother in Flagstaff. The stuff around the airport is ghetto as hell but I hear it has some decent parts.

Been there many times. Raced at Firebird. traveled around the area stayed at a few nice resorts in Scottsdale (very nice). My son is attending Embry-Riddle in Prescott so I go out there often.

I just opened the link you provided....AWESOME! You will really appreciate the SM after driving those vettes. You will probably be on a different track than the one I raced on. I think I was the East Course, short and flat but still fun. Enjoy your time out there. Stay away from the Casino around the corner.

Never been to Phoenix. I hear it is pretty big though. Tucson is pretty nice though, especially the RV parks.

If you have the energy and time to go out for dinner and you like tex-mex; you have got to go to Ajo Al's in Scottsdale (they have a couple other locations as well). Order the Sonoran Muchaca Chimi (you have to like somewhat hot food). The best mexican I have ever had.

great restaurants in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area. Sushi 101 in Tempe is pretty good and there is a really good Thai place near the art Gallery's in Scottsdale
this time of year it's pretty nice, i was there Jan-Mar in 07 and the weather was very nice.
