Anybody work at Circuit City/Best Buy?

Wondering if anybody still worked there and had access to employee discount. I am debating just going to work there just to get a discount again.

IF you do please let me know. I want to buy a Kenwood DNX8120 and seeing what prices I could get for that through employee discount. I remember our discounts were pretty fucking good.

I dont know, ive been researching but shit I Dont know much about in-dash navigations. I want a double din 6-7-inch screen with navi, built in bluetooth and sirius with non-faded outputs, an ipod controller with it able to play videos and touch screen. Also the navigation has to be built in hard drive or has to have a seperate disc. I dont want to have to put in the disc, load my navigation, then put in my music disc.

I liked the kenwood because its got the fastest ipod to screen loading times with full control of ipod from the screen so I dont have to ever touch or look at the ipod. It also is basically a garmin navigation unit.

If youve got anything like that I would definitely be open for suggestions and prices. I dont need prices with installed rate, just the unit.

DJ, I can get the Pioneer AVIC900BT for $1049.98 and the iPod cable with video capability for $49.98. This unit has bluetooth built in and the hard drive for the nav is built in so there is no disk required. I can have this unit tomorrow so if you are interested please call me.

hmm I was playing around with that unit today but im not so sure about it. DO you know if it is like the kenwood units where you just have to ground the wire to watch video while the car is moving (not for me, but for passenger)

nah, All the new pio stuff has gyros so just grounding the wire won't make the video viewable while driving.

It depends on the unit. Some you can move a wire to a different place and ground it but they have been making it harder and harder to do with each generation. Look on the interwebs.

$700 for that Pioneer unit shipped, they usually have the best prices for most car audio.

FYI, IBuyDig has been around forever reselling electronics on the internet and I have been buying car audio equipment from them since my first car without problems. You still get the factory warranty which is all that matters to you since you are installing yourself.

I pulled the trigger and got a pioneer avic Z2 and the sirius direct connect. Got it from Tweeter as they are going out of business so I got it for a ridiculous price that I couldnt refuse. Plus its from a real dealer so they(pioneer) will honor the manufacturer warranty.

The Z2 cant do the simple 2-wire bypass but there is a software update you can do plus the 2-wire bypass, so I should be able to take care of it fairly easily when I install it. Have to wait for the car to run...first...lol
