wiring harnesses
#1
So, I bought the silvertop 20v engine for my car but i need the wire harness for my car to be spliced into the wire harness for the engine. Just throwing this out there, but does anyone have any experience with this? Or, best case scenario, if someone does, would they be interested in doing it for me? Obviously, I would include a stipend.

You need to talk to Dr. Hess, he's done the swap, and he's very nice and knowledgeable. Email him and tell him Rex from GRM Forums sent you, and I'm sure he can answer any questions you have regarding a 20V swap.

first and foremost you are going to need wiring diagrams for your car and the car it came out of. Also expect to lengthen some parts of the harness. Basically the best way to do a silvertop swap is to get a whole front clip. On a solid note theres a swap out there to put the ITB of the 20v onto your 4age, so if you give up on the complete swap you can still have ITB goodness
