I know that the park is rather tight about the speed limit and spirited driving. With that said if we want to jump off at the Rt 33 exit and head to Harrisonburg for some food, gas or what not. Then we can run back up 42 to 263 to Jerome and back to 42 for some more spirited driving.

So, if you own a Z but it doesn't run well enough to make the trip (or at all), can you still come? :-)
Even if you do not own a Z you are invited but for sure if you have a Z.

I instantly looked at your location after reading this. I have been going to Bryce for over 20 years (first snowboarder on the mountain) and 263 is one of my favorite roads. I love the Laguna Seca like curve right before you head into the woods a couple miles west of 42.
Enjoy...I pick my car up Friday in the Burg but have to work Sat.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...

Is there really enough mountain and snow to make it fun. I spent 17 years in Utah so I am a little spoiled when it comes to winter sports.
Also if you like 263 you would love Jerome. As your driving on it you may have some flash backs from the movie Deliverance, but the after getting over the dueling banjos it has some great turns and hills.

Jerome is the turnoff from 42 at the cemetery near the old school and Ostrich farm. I knew a couple people that lived back in there....your description is mostly right on

hock: . All good roads though!
