One of my friends is coming down for homecoming weekend in his Krypton green Lotus Elise and he wants to get out and meet some MMers and cruise up 33 W.

We were planning on doing this as MM this coming weekend, so we should definitely do this as a group and get as many people out as we can. What about the actual weekend itself, I know Saturday is probably out but what about Sunday?
Friday or Sunday works. Friday would be perferred though, since my buddy has to head back to NJ on Sunday

Just FYI, we originally planned this event for the 28th...I'd personally like to avoid having to work around people's class schedules for a cruise? We had some people from the Richmond area interested in joining us

1.) Who said anything about working around a class schedule?
2.) This is the first I am heard of a MM event to go to 33 on the 28th, but maybe that's b/c I have missed one or two meetings?? 
Sooooooo in conclusion, either way, I am probably going on a cruise with some somewhat interesting cars that some people may be interested in seeing (a lotus elise and a Jag XKR) on Friday.

What time (approx) do you think you guys would be done with said cruise on Friday? Any chance you'd be getting some dinner somewhere back in town? I'm headed up to Summit and wouldn't mind doing some Dave's Taverna for dinner with you guys. (or whatever, I'm not picky, anyone grilling out?)

Maybe we could maintain a "MM Oasis" list, with addresses and phone numbers, accessible only by MMembers, so when we're passing through a town, we can have someone's house to crash and steal their food and car parts. Much like the yearly printed BMW club directory you get with membership so you can always have someone to call if you're stuck in Asscrack, Wherever and your plastic water pump just blew up. Pretty cool IMHO.
Then I could just call up a current member and be all, "Make me some pancakes, and I need an engine hoist, air tools, a bottle of Popov, an old priest, and a young priest, and I'll be in there in 10 min!" :lol:
