This is me copyrighting this idea... or something.

Lugnuts that don't use sockets... Lugnuts that accept a 3/8" drive. What benefit does a socket offer? Other thoughts?

I searched around and couldn't find any existing products like this.

That was quick.

I have thought of a whole bunch of stuff. Like in the shower I would love to set the water temperature on a digital keypad outside of the shower. I set it to the exact temperature that I want it, and then there is no need for adjustment. But I am sure it is out there somewhere, some other country.

I think that a direct drive lugnot wouldnt take off because I can turn a 3/4" lug with a 3/8" drive, a 1/2" drive an adjustable wrench..etc

good point, but that's what 1/2"->3/8" adapters are for... i'd say most often, people use 3/8" drives.

Kohler has had that for years, most recently they have incorporated multi jet shower heads programmed to music, so you could jack in your IPOD, set the temp and the shower heads would turn on and off to the music. I've seen a TV commercial or two showing both.

wow. That is certainly the most useless thing I've heard of in a while! Is this specifically for for customers who like to do a lot of E and masturbate in the shower to techno music? :evileye:

I'm glad I haven't seen these commercials....

I'd tend to agree but I don't think it turns them all off... just changes which are on with the music.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
