Probably a long shot, but I just thought I'd throw a notice up here too. I'm looking for a roommate at some point in the near future. Kind of sucks living by yourself sometimes.

i am putting an office in the smallest bedroom, already have a guest bed in the Bedroom 3, so bedroom 2 (which is the 2nd biggest) is going to be rented out. Pretty much would have a private bathroom, as there is a downstairs bathroom for guests. Full basement for storage of your stuff, garage will probably be occupied by my cars most of the time, but theres driveway space and street parking, and you could use the garage if you were working on something and needed a flat place.

500$/month plus utils, which i estimate to be around 125/person total (includes basic satellite tv, water, phone, electric, gas, sewer)

10% discount on rent for MMers

House is about 10 - 15 minutes away from Martinsburg, winchester, and charles town..maybe about 10 minutes from SP as well. 30 minutes to leesburg. Anyway..anything else, just ask!

edit: That reminds me - the house is actually located at 18 Roxie Mae Dr, Bunker Hill, WV 25413 if anyone was mapquesting or something..though I'm not sure they are updated since the address is new.

I didn't know there was another guy on here in WV! From the pics it looks like you are either at the site in Bunker Hill or Gerrardstown. If that's the case, I'm only a few minutes away from you.

Yep, go about 3 miles west of 81 and you're right in "downtown" Gerrardstown.

Supposedly, the owner of Ryan homes is the father of Dan Ryan...who's name is kinda infamous in the area and pretty much known for delivering substandard houses.

I've heard that Ryan homes are much better quality though, do you have any first-hand experience of this?

No experience other than hearing people say "Don't go anywhere near Dan Ryan homes"

I was a construction worker for years..and everything in this house seems to be done pretty decent. It doesn't have the tightness about it an individual home builder would've put into it..but it's not bad.

Yeah, Ryan Homes and Dan Ryan are two completely separate entities. Ryan Homes has a much better reputation overall in terms of build quality.

Well..I am kind of a sociable person. After a while watching TV by yourself or browsing the internet gets old as shit.

I think there are more pros when you actually own the place.

Cons: someone else in your house to possibly break things; they might have lame ass friends that come over sometimes; hard to evict someone? i dunno.
