You should see the Top Gear where they test the Brabus SL65, with 811 lb/ft of torque. On the track it totally freaks out the stock traction control and the car literally wobbles across the track as each corner of the car is reigned in by the brakes. Unrestricted the car produces 1000 pounds of torque....

scott, i don't think the car is merc... it may have some merc parts, but i believe this is a BRABUS vehicle, not just tuned by them.

My guess is that it's like buying an Alpina. I mean, it's not *just* a BMW, just like this isn't *Just* a brabus.
But Alpina > Brabus, so maybe this isn't the best example?
