Finally installed the Miata's Rollbar
#1
Alison and I finally got around to installing her Hard Dog rollbar and harness bar yesterday. Quite a project! Total time invested was just over 7 hours.

At the risk of sounding like a ricer, the car really feels quite a bit stiffer, epically in the rear.

The biggest PITA was trimming the plastic trim so it looked nice. The only thing that I need to tweak on is the retraction of the seat belts.

That aside, the install went very smooth. The quality of the set is great. It fit nice and tight and did not affect the operation of the soft top nor the rear window visibility. I was worried what the padding and leather wrap would do for both of those but it had zero impact.

And now the car looks much cooler with the top down.

And, most importantly, Alison can get out on track now ;-)
