+1 But follow the damn directions, please. When I worked at AAP, I can't count the number of people who said:
"You just put this in the radiator, right?"
NO! NOT RIGHT. There are directions on the bottle, you cretin!
Sorry. Went a little OT there.

You should be able to get it anywhere (even maybe Wal-Mart) but Advance def. has it. Hence my story. (such as it was)

at the risk of sounding like a cretin..... I thought I remembered that's pretty much what I did with it. According to this:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.barsproducts.com/tech/C16_tech.pdf">http://www.barsproducts.com/tech/C16_tech.pdf</a><!-- m -->
1. Shake Vigorously
2. Remove radiator cap when engine is cool.
3. Empty contents into radiator.
4. Fill radiator and reservoir to proper level.
5. Reinstall radiator cap.
6. Drive/idle engine for 15 minutes at normal operating temperature.
7. If leak persists, a second application maybe necessary.
That's about all there is to it. Am I missing something?
FWIW, it didn't help at all when I tried it in Jess' Accord. :dunno:

Yes, that's what's on the back of the bottle, so that's what you should do. But if you had purchased, say, this, the instructions would have been very, very different. Anyway, the point is that he can't go out to his car, throw the bottle in the radiator, and go about his business. Plus, every magic miracle product is different, and they all have different instructions.

oh, yeah sure, the head gasket stuff is different yes, right on. I'm quite sure plenty have just poured that in as well, ignoring the instructions.

Nothing from Bars will ever touch my cars...even being the horrible POS's they are. Just buy a Radiator off ebay. Got one for the van for $75 shipped and one for the PT for $115 shipped...both new.

Just don't drive it. Bars leak will get you putting a water pump on that thing in no-time
