Route Suggestions - NoVA to Front Royal VA

I have to take a trip out to Front Royal VA this weekend. Can any of you guys give me some of the more fun, twisty roads going out that way? I don't really want to take boring 66 all the way out.

50W to middleburg, hang a left onto The Plains Rd - fun 8 mile stretch to The Plains - and then head out 55 to Front Royal.
