anyone have tools and garage/space?

i just got a new bumper painted and few other things and I am without my stuff from home. im in ashby and i have no space nor do i have any of my tools to put them on. anyone willing to donate for a day and possibly help?

I dont have a garage but I do have a aluminum jack, jack stands, and a small tool set that should be able to get the job done.

i live in ashby.. me and all my roomates are car guy with a lot of tools and knowledge.. what do you need to do.. just change a bumper cover?.. to bad its cold as hell now.. but we can lend a hand or tools if needed

yea, just a new front bumper (and rear diffuser which is too easy to worry about). i figure about an hour depending on where and when (will be slow in the cold). Now heres my second delema - my seats dont fold down so i cant carry the bumper from the shop. so if in one day anyone wants to help bring and install, then that would be sweet.

Dude with the bimmer, who painted the bumper and where is it? If you want to do it after lunch on Saturday I will be headed home to do something paperwork and get a few things from my house. If you ware willing to drive to Woodstock we can do it inside out of the rainy weather. Catch is you have to help me load this china cabinet I am picking up.

lol if timing doesnt work out, we can do it in your neighborhood on jacks, its not that bad working in the rain and cold, I had to do it for a turbo install outside of my dorm room one time. I wont ever do that again just because all the fluids, but a bumper should be easy.

i really appreciate all these offers guys. i'm glad i joined MM. i work today till 3pm and have a few things to do so i dont think i'll catch you after lunch. i'm free tomorrow until 4pm and then wednesday after 3pm and then friday after 2pm. saturday is kinda up depending on who i can get to cover my shift but i'll let u all know what that will be. lemme know who can work with this schedule.

btw i got it painted by one of the guys at the shop at mid-atlantic motorsport. he owns like another place down south (VA) where he has bigger garage space. he does his own painting.

Ahahaha...on that red Miata that was recently sold and posted about here, I got kicked out of Stonegate for doing the suspension. So after we cleaned up the rear, we took it to the Walmart parking lot to do the fronts.

Stonegate kicked you guys out for doin suspension work there? We changed Keith's entire suspension on his hatch in the parking lot of Pheasant Run, and even harrassed women passing by with the air tools (Adam) and didn't get in trouble. Perhaps my roommate being the maintenance manager had something to do with it?

Well not kicked out like out of our apartment, but they told us twice to stop, and were pissed the second time so we moved. I did do a bunch of shit on my car and got lucky with nobody driving by (I was right next to the leasing place), but if they drove by, they'd say something.

yeah I think we did a compression test, but not much else.

Gerald was the smart one and sat in Geeser I for an hour with the heat on

man, when I worked on the del sol in my Fox Hills parking lot, I swear every person on the block would come by and ask me what I was doing. Then I would have to explain why I was putting on different wheels, or changing brake pads. Then I would have to explain what HPDE's were. Then they would always say "oh my car is making this weird noise... can you fix it?"

I don't think I do, but I remember you posted some on the forum after that night. Search around on here sometime and see if you find any. Man that night was insane.
