did someone remove Rob's gas price boycot day thing? That's just not right. I was under the impression that this was a public forum, and here we are, in the "anything goes" section. Make a section for car related topics like a few of us have suggested if you want something to police, but removing non-offensive, not to mention auto-related posts just seems like bad mojo to me. If you think it's a dumb post, don't respond. :?

1st of all - it was entirely in caps, that just plain sucks.
2nd of all - it was a chain letter, not a word of it was written by him.
3rd of all - the whole idea of it (in conjunction with the caps) was incredibly juvenile.
I have contacted Rob and told him what is necessary to put it up.

Sure, caps kinda sucks, but it made it clear that it was not him writing it. Just like putting something in italics, or with qoutes around it, or in another font size, or whatever. It wasn't a chain letter, I would guess he supported it or he wouldn't have posted it, and thought it might be fun for us to do the same. And yes, the idea was silly, there's many reasons why it wouldn't work, but look at RJ's posts! :wink:
Really though, I'm not defending the particular thread, but I guess I didn't know we had to have much justification and defense for our posts in the lounge. I guess "the man" is always out there.  hock:
