green_2kgt is born!!! Well, almost, somebody already tried to kill it too, but I'll fix it up.

With the extend of damage to both my 1/4's, roof and doors I priced out used parts, roof, doors, etc and I actually came out ahead buying another car. At this point I'm 98.3% sure I'm going to cut the cage out of my car and put it in this one and put my good body parts on this car, hood, fender, bumper, rad support, headlight mount and use this car. There were some things I did on my car early on that I want to do different, and it would have taken A LOT of work to fix. Starting over like this I can gut it down to a bare shell and build from the ground up. Also, this way I can do most all of the work myself. To fix the 1/4's I would have needed a body shop b/c while I can swing a hammer, I can't make something look good with it. With this green car it is mostly welding, grinding and turning a wrench, both of which I can do just fine :lol: I bought it last night but won't pick it up until first of September.

Oh, it will NOT stay green, that is one ugly mother.

looking forward to seeing how the buildup goes Chad. do you have any plans for a new paint scheme now that you are painting the whole car again anyway? i remember you had a few ideas a while back, it would be cool to see one come to life.
