forum speed/posting errors

the forum has been not feeling well the past few days. its been down a few times, and its been slow when its up. it also doesnt like posting and doesnt like marking the threads that i read as having been read.

Well, the time thing is fixed, but I still don't know why some people are having e-mail related errors when posting (I'm not, neither is John.)

I got this a few times:

My theory is that Nextpoint updated the server somehow - that would explain why the time was off a day and why the mail BS went crazy. The reason you got the error Feersty posted was because the forum thought you made posts 24hrs in the future once the time was fixed, and the forum is set up to allow a new post only if 15 seconds have passed after the previous one.

I added the registration system, but for some reason it isn't updating the database..... damn it. Works fine on my test system - I integrated the files into our boards. It isn't hurting anything ATM, so I'll deal with it after I get back from the beach. Sorry

forum is recognizing posts I've visited and the times are fixed, but I'm still getting the debug message almost every time that I post. Just giving an update that it isn't quite perfect yet.

the forum has been on and off for me recently. at first i thought it was just my comp, but even my access at work has been crappy. anyone else having these problems or do i just suck at the intArweb?
