Oh yeah!! Twin turbos for a BMW? Yup. I am surprised nobody talked about this car earlier. It really surprised me to see BMW add forced induction to their line-up of naturally aspirated cars.

We've talked about it a little. BMW purists don't care for it. Boost rot guys dig it.

Darn, a repost that I missed! Oh well. Unfortunately, the twin turbo engine is not available with all wheel drive Cry

I kind of wonder if a chipped 335 would be able to walk on an E90 M3? Seems like BMW's setting two models up to cannibalize each other (unless the E90 M3 is gonna be uber-powerful and expensive).

its electronic all-wheel drive, not real. Is just gonna be a glorified traction and torque distribution system.

Its the same Bosch system that the Audis use, just that the BMW's is tuned differently.

You gotta be making some mad cake to be in the market for one. I mean what age range are they targeting? Not us. All cars are getting bigger and bigger. Why is the 3series not a compact anymore? argh!

i don't really think they're targeting an age range, they're targeting those who want power and luxury and/or exclusiveness (boosted BMW) without spending the money for the M3. The price gap between the 330Ci and the M3 is incredible - something like $20k and this car is the filler.

they could be targeting one of us - some people on this forum could afford a new BMW 335 when it comes out. I'm not one of them Tongue.

Me neither. I love all that is inline 6 and turbo, but I'll be interested to see how this car turns out. Hopefully it will be a winner and we can see a few out at the track in the next few years.

I'd like to know how heavy the clutch feels... in the E46: the 330's is very light, but the M3's is heavier.

If the 335i has the light clutch, then you can figure where BMW wants it.

BTW... they've dropped Ci designations... wtf.
