Brake work - Sat. @ 5pm
#1
I'm coming down for all the MM events this weekend and when I saw that there is a drive through the mountian twisties I thought it would be best if I replace my brakes. I was going to wait a while, but I'd have a lot more peace of mind with better brakes on a mountain drive. I bought 4 new Hawk HP+ pads and new rear rotors. I don't have any tools, nor much expertise so I asked Sean if he'd be willing to help and he graciously agreed. We decided on 5pm on Saturday at his house on Ott St. If anyone else wants to hang out, work on your car, or just watch then please feel free to come over.

I'm assuming your brakes are similar to my e36 325's and I just changed pads and rotors about a month ago. I'll come and I'll bring the ever elusive 6mm hex wrench. Most kits skip from 5 to 7, but the capiler centering bolt needs a 6mm. So when I did mine I had to buy a $20 set of every hex wrench ever.

The parts didn't come. I got the pads but not the rotors. So... forget it. Thanks anyway Sean and Hunter for offering. I appreciate it.
